Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health & Environment Specialist IV to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety, health, and environmental management programs across our organization. Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to proactively address potential safety and environmental concerns Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence Design and deliver safety training programs to enhance employee awareness and promote a culture of safety Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Analyze SHE data and prepare comprehensive reports for management, identifying trends and areas for improvement Manage SHE-related projects and initiatives to continuously enhance the organization's safety performance Collaborate with various departments to integrate SHE considerations into business operations and decision-making processes Stay current with changes in UAE labor laws and international safety standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent international certification NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management Proven track record in developing and implementing SHE policies and procedures Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, and environmental management systems Expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation techniques Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and project management Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations related to occupational safety and health Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and decision-making abilities Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferred Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
