HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER – LEHLIU PLANT & IASI SILO

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager with a strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments to join our team and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Safety/HSE Manager role within industrial, factory, plant or manufacturing environment; minimum 3 years of experience in people management
• Certified Safety Inspector/SSM Inspector – mandatory
• Ability to quickly identify risks and implement practical solutions
• Available to step in and solve unexpected work during weekend and for any projects
• Strong stakeholder management
• Fluent in Romanian and English
• For this role there is no remote work option

• Risk assessment regarding the security and health of employees and the development of a prevention and protection plan and instructions, depending on the activities carried out.
• Provides consultancy in finding appropriate solutions for the purchase/installation/verification and monitoring of work equipment, process technologies.
• Responsibly applies monitoring actions, corrections and corrective actions within the food safety management system, according to the instructions and training received from the hierarchical head.
• Ensures the implementation of the procedures and instructions of the management system.
• Investigates the causes of the events, draw up the research file and ensure communication with the local authorities; initiates, verifies and/or recommends preventive and corrective actions for reported incidents.
• Performs inspections and checks with the frequency required by the legal requirements and/or the documents in the system.
• Provides consultancy in finding appropriate solutions for the purchase / installation / verification and monitoring of work equipment, process technologies.
• Ensures that the emergency plans are adapted to the identified and analyzed dangers; has the initiative in emergency situations and response capacity.
