Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Safety Inspector to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations, conducting thorough inspections, and implementing safety measures across our facilities. Conduct regular safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues • Analyse safety data and incident reports to identify trends and areas for improvement • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programmes • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions • Provide guidance and training to employees on safety practices and procedures • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures and recommend improvements • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety inspection or a related role • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including local and international guidelines • Proficiency in safety inspection techniques and the use of safety monitoring equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in report writing and documentation • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and remain organised in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using computer systems and safety management software • Understanding of industrial safety practices and risk assessment methodologies • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation • Willingness to travel to various sites within the Dammam area as required Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Urban Transport and Urban Development Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site supervision Profession: Site Inspector I
