Position Description At a Glance The Pass & Seymour business of Legrand is seeking a Safety Intern for their Concord, NC office. Working with the EH&S team, this intern will gain experience/knowledge with Lock Out and Tag Out (LOTO) Safety Processes. They will be exposed to a manufacturing facility that includes Injection Molding, Stamping, Extrusion and Automated Assembly. They will work in an office/manufacturing environment. Steel toe shoes will be required. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: Main Job Duties: · Primary: Create/Revise Lock Out Tag Out instructions for a variety of manufacturing pieces of equipment · Secondary: Other safety related activities that come up during internship Qualifications Education: · Pursuing BS in any Engineering or Environmental/Safety preferred. Experience: · Applicable course work or experience · Interest in Safety Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: · MS PowerPoint experience required (good slide layout skills). · Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail. · Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. · Able to interact professionally with others. · Able to take good photographs. · Review general LOTO processes before 1st day.
