DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN SAFETY COMPLIANCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Develop current knowledge of Safety Laws and Regulations
  • Stay informed of new developments in the Safety field
  • Develop a working knowledge of Safety information databases and searchable resources
  • Work on construction projects or in the office to assist with the day-to-day activities associated with safety and loss control
  • Participate in training at safety meetings, toolbox meetings and safety orientations
  • Work directly with a mentor while finding solutions to real world problemsGain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the construction industry

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field of study.

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the implementation of the Lyles Construction Group’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program. Specifically, ensures safe and healthy working conditions through inspections, reports, recommendations, and training to promote safety consciousness and support our Zero Incident Safety Culture.
