Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Equipment & Systems Maintenance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems including pneumatics and hydraulics. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electromechanical components of manufacturing equipment. Support the setup and calibration of mechanical systems and torque application equipment. Ensure proper functioning and safety of mechanical testing equipment. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate service records. Maintenance Routings Execute scheduled maintenance tasks according to established routings. Identify and report deviations or potential issues during routine inspections. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize maintenance schedules. Safety & Compliance Follow and enforce safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE usage. Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment complies with safety regulations. Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Determine, recommend and monitor the proper use of safety industrial equipment. Be sure that all machinery and facility equipment is in optimal operating conditions and has safety devices that guarantee personnel safety. Corrects quality, safety and maintenance problems, finding the root cause and implementing irreversible corrective actions to the problem. Make a quality and safety evaluation to the supplier on completion of the assigned work. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Manufacturing engineering, EHS, and production teams to support equipment reliability. Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance status and issues. Requirements: Technical degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Maintenance. Training in pneumatics and hydraulics is highly desirable. 5+ years of experience in maintenance of mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Experience with torque application systems and mechanical testing equipment. Familiarity with maintenance routines and safety compliance. Skills (desirable): Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems including pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics. Proficiency in maintenance software or CMMS systems. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
