POSITION OVERVIEW

The Safety Manager will oversee and enhance the organization’s safety programs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is pivotal in promoting a safe work environment within the manufacturing sector, focusing on minimizing risks and ensuring adherence to DOT, OSHA, and EPA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • In-depth experience with DOT standards and compliance requirements.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and motivate staff on safety issues.
  • Proficient in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 with Full Standard Benefits
