Job Description We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager with a strong background in safety engineering. The safety manager ensures that safety is treated as the main priority during construction work. For these matters he ensures the links between the building site coordinator, the general contractor, the client and the equipment suppliers Key Responsibilities Organization of safety induction Checking safety and health protection plans Identifying the potential hazards during all stages of the project Verifying that Subcontractors have all required accreditation / formalities related with occupational safety and health Checking that workers have all required training and certificates Checking and approving lifting plans Organizing daily inspections and preparing reports of problems Organizing alcohol level controls Organizing meetings to discuss safety issues Qualifications At least 3 years of experience working as a safety engineer BS or MS degree in engineering, construction management or related field is required Excellent communication skills Good English
