Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing workplace risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with local and international standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Promote a culture of safety awareness through training and continuous communication. Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management. Collaborate with different departments to ensure safety standards are integrated into all operations. Manage emergency response planning and drills. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. 7–10 years of experience in health and safety management. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001). Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and reporting abilities. Experience in high-risk or industrial environments is a plus.
