The InProduction Safety Department exists to promote and implement safety standards that places the health, safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and visitors as the number one priority. This Safety Manager will be responsible for all job sites within their territory. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the top build sites across the US are covered by Regional Safety Specialists. As needed, will travel throughout the US to InProduction’s active job construction sites outside of their territory. Overnight, out of town travel up to 85% is the standard for this position. Most of the work sites are outdoors and are usually at professional sporting stadiums, golf courses, racetracks, & concert sites. Employees do not use per-diem to cover these expenses. Specifics: Full Time, Salaried Exempt. Leadership Responsibilities: With direction and collaboration fromtheSVP of Human Resources & Safety: Assist in effectively and continuously training Regional Safety Specialists in company, State OSHA and Federal OSHA 1926 safety standards. Ensure all Regional Safety Specialists obtain certifications needed to perform their roles. Some examples of certifications are: Forklift Instructor Certification, Scissor Lift Instructor Certification, Fall Protection Instructor Training. Ensure Regional Safety Specialists are utilized at the most important events in their territories. Ensure Regional Safety Specialists complete daily assigned tasks & routines as directed by the SVP of Human Resources & Safety. Assist in creating positive, professional, and courteous Regional Safety Specialist staff. Create Toolbox Talks and ensure the message is communicated and recorded properly by the Regional Safety Specialists. Assist in the update, implementation and enforcement of safety program and policies. Provide daily, weekly, & monthly recaps to the SVP of Human Resources & Safety. Lead Accident Investigations; communicate findings and recommendations. Position Responsibilities Perform all duties as outlined in the company’s safety program Ensure compliance with all new developments, regulations, and requirements for environmental, health, and safety regulations Inspect and ensure job sites within your region to achieve safety goals Ensure job sites and employees are in compliance with Federal and State OSHA Standards Lead accident investigations; communicate findings and recommendations Coordinate safety training for employees and supervisors as required Develop and conduct weekly toolbox talks on site Attend necessary seminars to maintain familiarity with regulations and requirements Writing reports and responding to inquiries and concerns Develop and maintain emergency response and accident prevention plans Responsible for identifying safety hazards and immediately mitigating the issue Conduct and maintain Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) & Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s) Responsible for immediately applying corrective and preventative action when discrepancies are detected. Requirements: Overnight out of town travel up to 85% required Sitting, bending, standing, walking for long periods of time Ability to work at heights greater than 40 feet Able to climb ladders 20/20 vision with corrective lenses Excellent oral and written communication skills in a professional setting Valid Driver’s License with a clear & safe driving history Proficient computer skills. Microsoft Office a MUST to include Excel Must be able to travel on an airplane Working evenings and weekends may occasionally be required Must be able to work outdoors in any weather/temperature condition Ability to become proficient in OSHA, EPA, and DOT, regulatory requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) A strong desire to keep others safe Preferred Candidates Will Have: English/Spanish Bilingual capability both verbal and written OSHA 30 At least 5 years of safety leadership experience Additional certification in relevant safety processes Experience traveling extensively for work Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply Benefits: Per-Diem Vision, Dental, Medical Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Vacation 401K Match Tuition Reimbursement
