We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to lead our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) initiatives across tower crane, mobile crane, and hoist operations. POSITION SUMMARY
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and evolving our health and safety program. You’ll ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, CraneSafe BC, and Technical Safety BC, while driving a culture of safety excellence across all operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction or industrial safety leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC, CraneSafe, and Technical Safety BC regulations.
· Experience using safety management systems (e.g., SiteDocs or similar).
· Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety, or related field preferred.
· Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
· NCSO, CRSP, or other safety certifications are considered strong assets.
· Strong communication, leadership, and training facilitation skills.
· Valid BC driver’s license.
· Willingness to travel within BC (approximately 25% of the time).

· Manage and update the company’s Occupational Health & Safety Program.
· Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies for audits and inspections.
· Ensure all certifications, permits, and safety documentation are current and accessible.
· Oversee the SiteDocs platform for safety tracking:
o Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs)
o Safe Work Procedures (SWPs)
o Incident Reports and Corrective Actions
· Lead safety training sessions, onboarding, toolbox talks, and site meetings.
· Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and damage reports with root cause analysis.
· Monitor safety performance metrics and report to senior leadership.
· Support RFPs and bid packages with compliance and safety documentation.
· Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to align safety goals with field execution.
