Responsibilities The Safety Manager in Rahway, NJ supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety. Provide daily field safety oversight Conduct safety audits and inspections Review and manage permits for: Hot Work Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Fall Protection Scaffolding Participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Attend weekly toolbox talks with the general contractor Support commissioning activities Ensure OSHA and site safety compliance Qualifications OSHA 510 required Pharmaceutical construction highly preferred Commissioning experience required Experience with lab renovations or hazmat projects preferred HAZWOPER 40 preferred Previous experience at a major pharmaceutical facility preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work well with contractors Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability Overview HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
