Our Mohali office supports backend U.S. fleet operations by managing safety monitoring, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention programs. Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Safety Manager to lead driver safety initiatives, telematics monitoring, incident investigations, and overall compliance with U.S. DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will play a key role in coaching drivers, enforcing corrective actions, and maintaining audit-ready safety and compliance records. This position requires strong analytical skills, real-time decision-making, and the ability to build a zero-incident safety culture. Key Responsibilities✔ Driver Safety Monitoring Monitor unsafe driving triggers through telematics platforms (speeding, harsh braking, seatbelt usage, mobile distractions, etc.) Issue immediate corrective coaching and maintain complete coaching logs Maintain ongoing GPS discipline & violation tracking ✔ Safety Training & Awareness Conduct onboarding safety orientations and compliance briefings for new drivers Schedule and maintain records of safety refresher training, toolbox talks & behavioral coaching Drive awareness on fatigue management, load securement, and defensive driving ✔ Incident & Collision Management Lead incident reporting — collect documentation, timelines, and evidence Perform root-cause analysis and track corrective action closure Coordinate with compliance/insurance teams for claim support and reporting ✔ Documentation & Audit Readiness Maintain structured and organized digital safety documentation to ensure 100% audit compliance Support compliance requirements related to FMCSA, Caltrans, and Public Works projects ✔ Reporting & Communication Generate weekly safety dashboards: incidents, high-risk behavior trends, training completion Work closely with U.S. Operations, Dispatch, & Compliance teams to reduce risk exposure Required Skills & Experience 4–7 years of experience in Safety, Compliance, or HSE roles within U.S. transportation or logistics Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT safety standards, CSA scores, and accident reporting protocols Exposure to driver coaching and performance improvement frameworks Strong documentation accuracy and telematics monitoring experience (Samsara preferred) Excellent English communication (written & verbal) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting California Public Works / DIR compliance Familiarity with insurance claims support (AI, WOS, Waiver of Subrogation) Certifications in fleet safety or risk management (bonus) Direct impact on safety performance across U.S. operations Fast-paced environment with high ownership and visibility Growth path: Senior Safety Manager → Safety & Compliance Lead
