Responsibilities: Develop and execute health and safety plans/training in the workplace Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention Coach/correct safety concerns in the field Perform field safety audits Inspect equipment and construction projects to observe possible unsafe conditions Investigate accidents or incidents Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures Prepare safety permits/approvals Provide professional expertise Requirements Safety management college degree preferred or relative job experience Large scale construction / Industrial construction projects experience preferred Bilingual speaking preferred OSHA Certification (10, 30, 510, or 500) in Construction BCSP Certs - CSP, ASP, GSP or CHST preferred First Aid/CPR/AED Trained Ability to work all shifts (day/night/weekends) Good communication skills Ability to manage employees and work in a team environment Ability to work in a team environment Proficient Word/Excel/Powerpoint Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

The Safety Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive health and safety plans, preparing and enforcing safety policies, and conducting training sessions for accident prevention. This role also involves coaching safety concerns in the field, performing safety audits, inspecting sites, investigating incidents, and preparing necessary safety permits.
