Aureol Global Connections is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to oversee and promote safety practices across all projects and operations. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. By fostering a culture of safety, you will help protect our employees and assets, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors. Maintain up-to-date records of safety performance, incidents, and training activities. Collaborate with management and project teams to promote a culture of safety. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on site. Stay informed about changes to safety regulations and industry best practices. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role, preferably in construction or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent observational and analytical skills. Effective communication and training abilities. Certification in safety training courses such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
