Department Health and Safety Position Safety Officer Location Reko Diq SITE - Balochistan Qualification Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or related field preferred. Certificate or Diploma in OHS is an advantage. Basic knowledge of Accident Investigation techniques is preferred. Experience Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Health, Safety, or Loss Prevention, preferably in Construction or Resources industries. Experience working on-site with safety procedures and compliance is a plus. Requirements Understanding of safety regulations, standards, and codes of practice relevant to the industry. Ability to assist in writing and implementing safety procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with site personnel and contractors. Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation and monitoring of occupational health and safety policies across the site. Conduct regular site safety inspections and report hazards or unsafe practices. Support safety supervisors in accident and incident investigations. Promote safe work practices and safety awareness among personnel. Assist in the preparation and updating of safety documentation and reports. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support emergency response and occupational health programs on-site. Liaise with contractors and site management regarding health and safety matters. Report on safety performance and incidents to the Safety Supervisor or Manager. Support the implementation of the Critical Control Management Program. Encourage a safety-first culture among workers and contractors.
