JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must ensure all site activities are conducted safely and according to UAE labor and safety laws.

REQUIREMENTS:

• NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / UAE-approved Safety Officer certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction safety (UAE experience preferred).
• Solid knowledge of UAE labor law and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-risk construction environment.
• Immediate availability preferred.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on site.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to workers and supervisors.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain all HSE documentation and reports as per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to promote a safe work culture.
• Ensure workers use correct PPE and follow proper safety protocols.
• Liaise with authorities during site inspections or audits.
