JOB SUMMARY:

Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs that ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) as mandated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Philippines. The role involves promoting safety practices, conducting safety audits, ensuring compliance with national safety regulations, and spearheading initiatives to foster a safe working environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a Safety Officer 4
• With at least two (2) years of work-related experience as a Safety Officer or in related role, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, construction, or logistics in the Philippines. preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of DOLE’s Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSH) and other local safety regulations.
• Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections.
• Proficiency in hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Strong communication skills to lead safety training and enforce compliance.
• Ability to work with local government agencies (DOLE, BFP, etc) for compliance and permits.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address safety issues.
