Reporting to the Safety Coordinator, you will provide technical safety expertise and support the implementation and delivery of continuous safety improvement initiatives across site. Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) produces some of the world’s highest quality thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal for export. Our operation comprising of HVO North and HVO South – are in Lemington near the NSW Upper Hunter town of Singleton. Considering a career with HVO? Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will provide technical safety expertise and support the implementation of continuous safety improvement initiatives across the site, working closely with operational leaders to drive improved safety performance. Key duties include promoting a proactive safety culture, coaching on procedures, participating in incident investigations, and analyzing safety data to prepare performance reports.
