Full job description

To ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for employees.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate fire drills, emergency exercises, and evacuation procedures.
• Follow up on corrective actions and close safety observations.
• Liaise with management, employees, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
