Description

We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer for our civil construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction safety (specifically in scaffolding and civil works), with strong knowledge in risk assessment, toolbox talks, incident investigation, and UAE HSE regulations. Immediate joining is required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a similar role in the construction industry (civil & scaffolding works).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (preferred).

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent knowledge of UAE labor laws and Dubai Municipality safety regulations.
  • Strong command over English(spoken and written) Hindi.
  • Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced construction environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety policies and procedures on all construction sites.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and ensure compliance with UAE local and international safety standards.
  • Deliver daily Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed Risk Assessment Reports, Method Statements, and Job Hazard Analyses.
  • Inspect scaffolding erections and dismantling, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare reports with corrective/preventive measures.
  • Maintain all HSE documentation and ensure records are updated and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to plan safety measures for high-risk activities.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on-site.
  • Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and clients for site safety audits and inspections.
  • Support emergency preparedness drills, first aid training, and evacuation procedures.
