QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of experience in construction safety, site inspection, or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
• Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), COR/SECOR auditor, or equivalent is an asset.
• Familiarity with quality assurance/control methods and construction inspection processes.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple job sites across the Lower Mainland.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an asset.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive Site Safety Officer / Quality Inspector to join our team. This is a field-focused role responsible for monitoring safety standards and ensuring construction quality across all Vasto job sites. Working closely with project managers, superintendents, and trades, you will help maintain compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, building codes, and company policies while fostering a strong culture of safety and excellence.
This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing guidance and leadership to on-site teams.
