Job Title: Safety Officer

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and MEP projects to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment across project sites, and complying with UAE labor and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and company standards.
Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site staff and workers.
Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident logs.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors for compliance.
Investigate accidents or near misses and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.
Monitor use of safety equipment and PPE.
Ensure adherence to fire safety, electrical safety, and equipment handling protocols.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HVAC and MEP projects as a Safety Officer.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certifications (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and safety standards.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple site responsibilities.
