Are you detail oriented and skilled at keeping complex processes on track? UniGroup is looking for a Safety Qualification Coordinator to join our team and help ensure compliance with federal regulations and company safety standards. In this role, you will play a critical part in reviewing and qualifying van operators, making sure every step of the process is accurate, timely, and compliant.

What You’ll Do

  • Review applications and required DOT documentation with a fine-tooth comb. No missing boxes, gaps, or unchecked details.
  • Run background checks, MVRs, and employment verifications to fully qualify drivers.
  • Track and manage each step of the qualification process, setting reminders and following up until everything is complete.
  • Communicate daily with agents and drivers by phone and email, providing guidance and support on compliance requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records in our systems and support audits

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in transportation/logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple drivers and deadlines at once
  • Comfort working with detailed compliance processes and DOT regulations (training provided)
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm and professional when challenges arise
  • A collaborative, team-first approach

At UniGroup, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset. We offer a comprehensive rewards package that supports your total well-being, including:

  • Flexible remote work with occasional on-site collaboration
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Competitive paid time off, holidays, and volunteer time
  • Wellness and employee assistance programs
  • Career development opportunities and cross-training support
