  • Report Writing & Document management
  • Excel/Sheets administration for data analysis
  • Workplace Safety Investigations

You will also need to have a valid Drivers License, and be comfortable completing our compliance checks outlined below.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Risk Coordinator to join our Mobile Speed Cameras team at G4S. The Mobile Speed Cameras workforce of approximately 120 staff members, provides a high-profile operation across NSW, requiring robust safety and risk management protocols due to the diverse range of activities our operators undertake.
The role is based on-site in Ingleburn, working closely with our management team and control room, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day operations and supporting our frontline operators in the field. This unique position offers the opportunity to truly understand their experiences and contribute to a strong safety culture.
You will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnel and maintaining a safe working environment through the guidance of our G4S safety initiatives.

Reporting to the Contract Lead (Alex), you will work closely with the workforce to execute the below responsibilities:

  • Provide safety and risk oversight to support service delivery; ensure timely consideration of and response to incidents and hazards, to meet contract specifications.
  • Control non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions for safety and risk management procedures by conducting investigations and audits
  • Maintain documents, including the contract Risk & Emergency Management Plan, Safe Work Method Statements, and Business Continuity Plan.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs; conduct risk meetings, safety committee meetings, and other meetings as required.

This role will require ad hoc travel to various operational sites within NSW and ACT to conduct on-the-job assessments, safety and risk reviews, and incident investigations, ensuring consistent safety standards and proactive risk management across all locations. Vehicle and accommodation will be provided when travel is required.
