SAFETY SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Manager to join our team at the Magdeburg production plant as a key role in the implementation of various safety programs. Do you have a sound understanding of hazards, a strong interest in communication and collaboration with different departments, but above all a passion for all aspects of safety? YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified safety engineer, occupational safety specialist (SiFa) or comparable in accordance with German safety regulations
  • Relevant professional experience in occupational safety, ideally in an international production environment
  • Experience in conducting audits and with international safety standards
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Strong hands-on mentality and intercultural awareness
Responsibilities
  • Active participation in the development, continuous improvement and implementation of all aspects of occupational safety within production
  • Implementation of processes and structures to ensure zero accidents, including the preparation of annual development plans
  • Representing occupational safety in the prototype production of our future products
  • Coaching and developing managers in their daily safety routines
  • Taking on tasks in accordance with DGUV regulation 2
  • Carrying out safety inspections and audits as well as reviewing accident reports and analyzing accidents and near misses
  • Contact person for customers and authorities in matters of occupational safety
