Offer Accept has partnered with a leading construction firm is seeking an EHS Safety Coordinator to oversee safety and health compliance across active job sites. This role is essential in promoting and maintaining a culture of safety, with the primary goal of minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or industrial construction and be comfortable traveling for extended assignments as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction safety roles.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • OSHA 510 certification required.
  • Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and digital safety tracking platforms.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to think critically and respond effectively to evolving field conditions.
  • Aerial Work Platform Trainer certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures on job sites.
  • Lead and advise site personnel and subcontractors on safety protocols, hazard prevention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate and document weekly toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and job hazard analyses.
  • Collect, review, and maintain all subcontractor safety documentation and certifications.
  • Administer and manage a web-based safety documentation platform to ensure records are current and accessible.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client safety auditors, addressing compliance requirements and corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor worksite activities to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and internal protocols.
  • Investigate incidents, track violations, and prepare reports with recommendations for mitigation.
  • Stay up to date with OSHA standards, safety trends, and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Collaborate with field and project teams to foster a proactive safety-first culture.
