Description This position will be responsible for leading and assisting the routine functions of the Safety department including training, observations, and compliance standards regarding safety and environmental aspects of the AGS site and enforcing company policies and procedures, in full respect of AGS policies and procedures in force. Although not limited to, your main responsibilities as Safety Supervisor will be (without limitation): Main Scope Full command of HSE policies and regulations, such as: Possess a current valid driver’s license Evaluate, analyze and convey hazards associated with any job task at AGS. Direct, coach, mentor, and motivate employees in regard to safety compliance. Development of operation skills of equipment resulting in safe ability to train employees. Oversee training for all personnel and ensure documentation is correctly obtained and recorded. Requirements In this position, you are expected to show the following knowledge and competencies: Knowledge of current OSHA regulations Excellent communication skills Detailed review of all forms, inspections and equipment related documentation. Effective communication to promote all company policies and procedures with emphasis on safety related compliance. Ability to sustain high pressure work environment and be available for periodic work on nights and weekend. Competent operation of site equipment
