As a Senior SailPoint IdentityNow API Developer, you will focus on building and extending integrations between SailPoint IdentityNow and other enterprise applications using APIs. You will play a pivotal role in scripting and automating processes, enabling seamless identity lifecycle management, and enhancing service delivery through custom API solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in identity governance, with specialization in SailPoint IdentityNow API development.
• Proven expertise in developing and consuming REST APIs using tools such as Postman
• Proficiency in scripting and coding with languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, access management, and entitlement directory management.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth, OpenID, or SAML.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot and debug API-related issues.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• SailPoint IdentityNow certifications such as IdentityNow Implementation Engineer.
• Experience with DevOps tools for task automation, such as CI/CD for API development.
• Experience working with Jira
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and access control mechanisms.
