Description Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract food service company, is looking to hire a Salad Bar Prep Cook Attendant for our Schaeffler location in Wooster, OH. The pay rate is $15.00- $16.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday – Friday. The shift hours are 6:00am – 2:00pm. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and assemble yogurt bar, salad bar. Rotate and stock grab and go cooler. Operate equipment such as slicers, buffalo choppers, and ovens safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized salad station, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines; both in the FOH and the BOH preparation area. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their needs accurately. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service and food quality. Replenishing food items as required during service, breakdown service areas after the meal period and assisting with general kitchen duties as needed, including caterings, cleaning and dishwashing. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in a deli, cafeteria, or food service setting preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once. Strong communication and customer service skills. Other Duties and Tasks All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Managers or Supervisors, as a part of any “Job” or “Position” assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
