Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Manchester office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE: SALES ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

This position is for a sales focused candidate who is looking to forge a career as a Sales Professional at Marsh. Upon completion of a structured training programme, the successful candidate will responsible for the acquisition of new clients in our Commercial segment.
This requires the profitable acquisition and growth of clients through the delivery of the overall client relationship & development strategy.
Within the role, the successful candidate will specialise in the SME segment typically prospecting companies with a minimum turnover of £3m upwards. Your network of prospects will include a focus on two key industry sectors in your designated region.
This role could suit either an experienced Sales Professional or a target driven individual looking for a career within insurance sales as training will be provided.

ONCE ESTABLISHED IN THE ROLE, WE WOULD EXPECT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO DELIVER:

  • Delivery of agreed new business targets
  • Progress in technical competency and experience as well as achievement towards industry accredited qualifications (Cert CII DipCII / ACII)
  • Developed network of clients, prospects and stakeholders within your industry sectors
  • A steer towards an industry focus to build a specialism.
