We are a fast-growing startup transitioning into our scale-up phase. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our team. This role focuses on driving business development, closing out leads, and contributing to our growth in the hospitality sector. If you have a strong background in B2B sales and are passionate about scaling innovative solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-7 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven track record in selling a tech product, ideally to the hospitality industry, with an established network of contacts.
  • Experience in a scale-up or high-growth startup environment.
  • Expertise in business development and consultative selling, with a data-driven approach to building sales pipelines.
  • Proficiency in managing CRM systems preferred Hubspot.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly adaptable, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German a plus if French/Spanish
  • Familiarity with hospitality or sustainability industries

Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base within the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants, venues, etc.).
  • Leverage your network and industry connections to establish relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Understand clients’ needs and provide tailored solutions to address their specific business challenges.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

Sales Execution

  • Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on client interactions to support continuous improvement.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track leads, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Identify and recommend sales tools or techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide regular updates, forecasts, and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
