Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s customer base and revenue. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers across various industries, including medical supplies and equipment, construction and construction supplies, HVAC, and technology. Conduct in-person customer visits to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and establish trust. Proactively research and target potential customers within the final-mile and expedited delivery markets. Present and effectively communicate Now Courier’s services and value proposition to prospective clients. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention. Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing updates to leadership as needed. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery for new and existing customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. 5 years of proven sales experience Connections within the Indiana market and a track record of selling in Indiana Expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning Strong Sales and Account Management skills Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities Analytical and problem-solving proficiency Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets Experience in the courier, logistics, or transportation industry is a plus Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a sales, account executive, or business development role is required. Prior experience in the courier, logistics, or transportation industry is a plus.
