Description
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join us in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for retaining and growing sales accounts across various verticals, helping our customers and partners drive business and IT transformations using Red Hat services and solutions. As an Account Executive, you will gain an understanding of our customers’ processes, needs, and challenges while promoting the value of Red Hat’s solutions and how they can deliver value to the customer. What you will do: Translate Red Hat’s sales strategy into a relevant account-level strategy for each customer Expand existing accounts and create net new business opportunities by engaging with approximately 10-15 assigned accounts. Deliver on the account strategy to increase performance and customer success in key accounts, retaining and growing bookings through strategic account planning Apply knowledge of use cases and Red Hat’s strategic offering value proposition to identify and deliver opportunities to increase upsell, cross-sell, and renewals across the Red Hat portfolio while increasing presence within accounts Manage the end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting and initial engagement to closing transformative deals and driving platform adoption. Coordinate support from Specialist Solutions Architects, Sales Solutions Specialists, and industry experts to guide end-to-end sales and deliver customer value Cultivate relationships across customer organizations to position Red Hat as a strategic partner to their business Engage partners, where appropriate, to strengthen Red Hat’s customer value proposition What you will bring: 5–7 years of experience in technology or software sales, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, ideally linked to open source technology. Proven record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets through disciplined sales execution. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization and increase accountability within the account team Strategic orientation and value engineering skills to position and sell solutions to meet the customers’ needs and build business cases around ROI and total cost of ownership (TCO) Ability to articulate the customer's business issues, industry trends, competitive landscape and translate to the company's solutions. Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop internal advocates across the customer organization, including IT and related business teams and roles Proven experience selling complex IT solutions to large organizations within the region and to multiple decision makers Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven approach to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that inspire confidence and drive outcomes. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and SFDC. Fluent Dutch and English language skills Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and partners.
