OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Account Executive to join our growing team in the bath, flooring, and tile retail industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, and providing exceptional service to retail clients, contractors, and designers. This role requires excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills, along with a passion for helping customers and trade professionals bring their renovation projects to life. The Sales & Account Executive will leverage strong product knowledge and sales expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and support long-term growth. Knowledge of Quickbooks or Marketing is an asset.

Experience Required

  • Proven sales or account management experience, in bath, flooring, tile, or home improvement.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple account types (retail, contractor, designer).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with a variety of clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing quotes, processing orders, and tracking account activity.
  • Ability to balance showroom sales with account management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for home design, renovations, and supporting professionals in achieving their project goals is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks or Marketing is an asset.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekend

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing expert guidance on bath, flooring, and tile products.
  • Manage and grow relationships with retail clients, contractor accounts, and interior designers, ensuring excellent service and ongoing loyalty.
  • Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing where appropriate, and process orders accurately.
  • Follow up with clients and accounts to ensure satisfaction, address issues, and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to make accurate recommendations and highlight key features and benefits.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding sales within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with contractors and designers on project specifications, timelines, and custom solutions.
  • Work closely with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Keep detailed records of client interactions and account activity using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Participate in showroom merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with current trends.
  • Contribute to team success by sharing best practices and supporting colleagues as needed.

Commission is paid for sales in addition to annual salary.
