220 Wine & Spirits Distribution, a premier licensed distributor in Illinois specializing in small-batch, high-quality wines and spirits, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador. You’ll represent both our core distribution company and our sister event-driven venture, Wine Crawl, enhancing brand visibility and fostering customer connections through engaging experiences.

Working with Wine Crawl, our sister company transforms how people engage with wine and spirits—through immersive, gourmet tasting events and curated private crawls across multiple cities nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Represent 220 Wine & Spirits Distribution and Wine Crawl at tastings, retail locations, trade shows, and community events.
  • Engage warmly with customers, sharing product stories and brand values in a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Conduct captivating product demonstrations highlighting features, provenance, and distinctiveness.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Develop and share engaging social media content to amplify brand presence online.
  • Present confidently at public events, pairing education with enthusiasm and brand storytelling.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand brand presence in new markets and venues.
  • Support event logistics—especially for Wine Crawl—including staffing, setup, and delivering polished customer service.
  • Tailor messaging seamlessly across diverse audiences, from retail buyers to event attendees.

Qualifications & Must-Haves

  • Exceptional public speaking skills—comfortable speaking with groups of all sizes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication—clear, persuasive, and on-brand.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis—able to translate customer interactions into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals—able to craft messaging that resonates.
  • Sales experience is a plus—capable of driving conversion and achieving targets.
  • Experience in event coordination or delivery—especially experiential or tasting events, is a strong advantage.
  • High attention to detail—in planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Required: BASSET certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
