The Aggregate/Conveyor Sales Specialist position at Binkelman is responsible for managing and growing sales within your customer base. Your expertise in conveyors and conveyor applications will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, providing technical guidance, and building strong relationships with customers in various industries.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in the Aggregate/Mining industry OR application/sales experience with bearing, power transmission, conveyor belting and/or fluid power products
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
  • Technical knowledge of conveyors and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Aggregate, Agriculture, Cement, Steel, Glass, Automotive, Recycling, Refinery, Plastics, Food Processing and Lumber industry knowledge.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest conveyor technology trends and industry developments.
  • Educate customers on the benefits and features of our conveyor products

  • Educate customers on the benefits and features of our conveyor products.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare detailed proposals, including cost estimates and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate project specifications.

Sales Presentations:

  • Deliver compelling presentations to clients, highlighting the value of our conveyor solutions.
  • Address technical inquiries and concerns with confidence.
