Sales Account Manager – Exhibits   SPARGO, Inc. is a full-service event management company, offering a suite of services that support the production of trade shows, conventions, conferences, symposiums, and seminars. Paid Sick and Vacation Leave Summary: This position reports to one of the Sales Directors within the Healthcare Exhibits Department at SPARGO. Core responsibilities include selling exhibit space and sponsorships for tradeshows for association events within the healthcare sector. 1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance): 2. Selling exhibit space by telephone, email communications and in-person meeting when necessary. 3. Generating and nurturing new sales leads. 4. Weekly and monthly reporting on sales closed, pipeline and salesforce.com activities. 5. Maintaining relationships with core exhibitors, via telephone, email, office visits and show site visits. 6. Communicating with association clients to provide sales status updates, summaries of exhibitor feedback. 7. Creating bundled sales packages combining exhibit space, sponsorships, and online advertising opportunities. 8. Traveling for on-site sales and for prospecting at industry events. 9. Maintaining a working knowledge of the industry and competing shows by reading articles in leading journals and websites, as well as conducting research online. Qualifications (computer & communication skills, training, certification, etc.): 1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 2. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. 3. Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 4. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or another CRM application and a2z knowledge is preferred. 5. Understanding of healthcare regulations like PhRMA Code, AdvaMed Code and Physician Payment Sunshine Act is a plus. Education and/or Experience: 2-3 years exhibit, sponsorship and/or advertising sales experience or medical/pharmaceutical sales experience. Knowledge of the healthcare field and/or sales experience with medical meetings preferred. HS diploma or equivalent; College degree is a plus. Travel Required: 25% FLSA Status: x Exempt o Non-Exempt
