Drive high-impact growth for DRT’s Precision business by winning new strategic accounts, building relationships from the ground up, and closing high-value opportunities. This is a true hunter role for a sales professional who thrives in complex, technical, B2B manufacturing environments. Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of Dayton/Kettering, Ohio Relocation Assistance: Not available Travel: Required as needed for customer and business development activities What You’ll Do * New Business Development * Identify and win new strategic customers in manufacturing, industrial, and engineered products markets * Develop targeted outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and new business opportunities * Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and decision makers * Full Sales Cycle Ownership * Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through quoting, negotiation, and closing * Present DRT’s precision manufacturing capabilities and long-term value proposition * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements while balancing profitability goals * Pipeline & Growth Strategy * Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM * Drive revenue growth while maintaining focus on margins and operational capacity * Expand DRT’s market presence and establish long-term customer partnerships * Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams * Support customer solutions aligned with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives * Help position DRT as a trusted manufacturing and precision solutions partner What We’re Looking For * Sales & Business Development Experience * 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, strategic accounts, or technical sales * Proven success generating and closing new business opportunities * Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build a pipeline from scratch * Manufacturing & Technical Background * Experience selling within manufacturing, industrial, precision machining, or engineered product environments * Understanding of technical sales cycles and complex manufacturing operations * OEM or engineered-to-order manufacturing experience preferred * Leadership & Communication Skills * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities * Executive presence with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders * Ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Additional Qualifications * Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce preferred * Ability to travel as needed * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred Why Join DRT?
