Description

A global leader in electronic components and advanced manufacturing solutions, serving industries such as automotive, industrial automation, and consumer electronics. We are looking for motivated and technically-inclined Sales Account Manager to lead account development and relationship management with key clients across North America. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronics manufacturing, component sales, or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and support the end-to-end sales process
  • Analyze customer forecasts, trends, and inventory requirements to proactively manage supply-demand dynamics
  • Coordinate closely with overseas manufacturing teams, including participating in regular cross-functional meetings (e.g., weekly online calls with Asia-based facilities)
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of delivery schedules, engineering changes, and commercial updates
  • Support customer audits and compliance requirements in collaboration with Quality/Engineering teams
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive sales activity reports, forecasts, and budget reviews
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to ensure the operational success of the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the EMS or electronic components sector
  • Experience working in automotive or factory/industrial environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with quoting, deadline-driven project coordination, and managing technical or logistical negotiations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.); experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus
  • Understanding of quality standards such as ISO-9001 and/or IATF 16949 is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently when required
