Description The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, pursuing qualified sales opportunities, supporting larger enterprise pursuits, and ensuring accurate proposals and pricing. This role works closely with Solution Architects and Sales Operations to uphold Knight Watch’s commitment to service excellence. Requirements Account Management & Growth Manage a portfolio of small-to-medium commercial accounts Drive account retention, satisfaction, and incremental growth Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities Maintain consistent, proactive client communication Sales Development & Opportunity Pursuit Pursue inbound and BDE-sourced leads Conduct early discovery and qualification Support new business development efforts AM Draft Jan 2026 Proposal, Quoting & RFP Support Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and RFP responses Partner with Sales Operations on documentation and registrations Ensure compliance with internal standards AM Draft Jan 2026 Collaboration & Internal Partnership Work with Solution Architects on solution design Support Account Executives and Enterprise Directors Participate in pipeline and forecast reviews AM Draft Jan 2026 Systems & Process Excellence Maintain accurate CRM records Track activity, forecasts, and customer interactions Follow established sales workflows AM Draft Jan 2026 Professional Development Participate in ongoing training and coaching Develop toward an Account Executive role Qualifications Experience 2–5 years of B2B sales or account management experience (preferred) Experience with proposals or RFPs a plus Background in security, technology, or integration services preferred AM Draft Jan 2026 Skills & Competencies Strong organization and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to learn and apply complex solutions Collaborative, team-focused mindset Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools Knight Watch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
