JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving ambitious sales targets through developing and strengthening our existing and potential client base. This role offers an exciting opportunity for dynamic sales professionals with B2B experience to join our innovative and friendly team.
This role is best suited to an Experienced Account Manager with a Hunter mindset who is willing to chase down leads and onboard new prospective business instead of a farmer role.
We welcome interest in the role from applicants with industry experience in either event tech rentals, software sales or the Events industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in sales, preferably as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
Experience in IT/Technology sales.
Events Industry experience (preferred but not essential).
Excellent telephone skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
Collaborate with internal teams to create customised solutions that meet client needs.
Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals on a consistent basis.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance.
Process inbound leads and inquiries, converting them into sales and orders.
Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for account improvement.
Research prospective clients through various resources, including trade press, local media, websites, and internal databases.
Develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring increased customer spend.
Update and input records on CRM systems, adhering to SOPs and producing accurate pipeline and sales reports.
Demonstrate a positive and fearless attitude, with strong communication skills over the telephone.
Work collaboratively as a team member and independently, showcasing strong IT skills.
Understand IT products and stay updated on industry trends.
Be self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to contribute to the company’s growth.
