POSITION SUMMARY

As a Sales Account Manager at Resion, you will play a key role in driving top-line growth and expanding our footprint across the aerospace, defense, and medical sectors. This is a high-activity role that thrives on phone time, outbound calling, strategic outreach, and the ability to engage customers in meaningful, solution-oriented conversations. You’ll leverage Resion’s vast inventory, supply chain expertise, and quality certifications to position our value proposition effectively while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
This role also involves collaboration with internal teams to ensure operational excellence, maintain compliance with industry standards, and deliver on the company’s promise of superior quality and service.
With a focus on proactive engagement, the Sales Account Manager will identify new business opportunities, thrive on a high volume of phone interactions, be driven by a passion for exceeding targets, and ensure timely follow-ups. This individual is a motivated self-starter who represents Resion’s commitment to providing program-critical supply chain solutions to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in account management or B2B sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial distribution sectors.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and ERP/MRP tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a hybrid role based in an office environment. Use of computer, phone, and office equipment is expected. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and engage in frequent communication throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Outbound Sales & Phone Engagement

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound warm and cold calls daily to prospective and existing customers.
  • Present, promote, and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate comfort and persistence on the phone, this role is phone-heavy and designed for those who embrace client interaction.
  • Confidently follow sales scripts while tailoring conversations to uncover customer needs.
  • Use a consultative and persuasive sales approach to identify pain points and provide solutions.
  • Ask insightful, strategic questions to qualify leads and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Be assertive and unafraid to ask for the sale.

Customer Success & Sales Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customer decision makers and management.
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with new and existing clients by establishing trust, identifying ongoing needs, and ensuring continuous engagement. This includes regular outreach, follow-up on active quotes, and providing value-driven insights that position Resion as a strategic partner, not just a vendor.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, offering consultative support and long-term solutions.
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability plan.

Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all customer and company requirements are met.
  • Represent the customer internally, advocating for their needs while maintaining Resion’s operational and compliance standards.

Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
  • Must be willing to travel to meet customers when needed and attend conferences/trade shows as required.
  • Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders.
