We are looking for a motivated Sales Account Manager to join our Performance Material team!
Reporting to the Area Business Manager, you will be responsible for building a long-term, value-based relationship with accounts, expanding them for further business. You will identify new business opportunities and simultaneously grow and strengthen existing customer relationships. This area offers growth potential in an exciting and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Improve Univar’s position within each account using consultative and in-depth selling at all levels within the account. Ensure efficient execution of the sales targets.
  • Improve and implement the yearly business plan: schedule visits, services, and calls. Close sales opportunities and build a reliable pipeline by spotting chances.
  • Start, establish and carry out sales projects, participate in conferences and marketing events.
  • Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to actively grow the size of the territory.
  • Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer.
  • Maintain a clear, updated view of your sales pipeline. Use reporting tools as the need arises,.
  • Set pricing and service levels, maintain and coordinate customer quotations, or provide necessary information for local branches to do so.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams like, product management, technical staff, and other departments, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and of your colleagues.
