Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales and key account management, ideally within the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Skilled in analysing sales data and developing strategic plans.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A relevant third-level qualification in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of sales/account management experience in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Solid understanding of food distribution channels (retail, wholesale, and foodservice).
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations and product development.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key retail and foodservice partners, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive customer retention and increase sales volume, revenue, and profit margins.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an export strategy, particularly targeting growth in the UK and Europe.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to shape sales strategy.
  • Lead contract negotiations, including pricing and terms, in line with company policies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments—marketing, planning, supply chain, and logistics—to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reports to senior management.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
