Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is a predominantly field-based position. You will be based remotely in the North of England, with some travel to our headquarters in Dyrham (SN14 8HZ) as agreed with the UK wholesale manager. Your customer base will be located within the following territory:

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be pivotal in growing our business by managing customer relationships and driving sales within your region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Growth: Build and develop relationships with an assigned portfolio of customers in your geographical area.
  • Product Expertise: Deliver in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and marketing initiatives to prospective and current customers.
  • Customer Visits: Organise and prepare for customer meetings, following a structured schedule set with the UK Wholesale Manager.
  • Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in our CRM system, Gold Vision, including notes and follow-up actions.
  • Event Participation: Represent The Fine Cheese Co. at trade shows, customer events, and other industry gatherings as requested.
  • Invoice Support: Collaborate with the finance team to assist with credit control and invoice management for your territory.
  • Purchasing Insights: Work closely with the purchasing team to share insights into customer buying trends, helping to refine stock management and forecasting.
