A growing company in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. We offer a competitive hourly salary with comprehensive benefits provided upon permanency.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential support to various departments, including sales and ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Office Support: Manage general office tasks such as ordering lunch and providing reception coverage as needed.
  • Communication Hub: Handle all incoming calls, efficiently directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Sales Coordination: Accurately enter sales orders and effectively coordinate with our sales team to ensure seamless processing.
  • Data Management: Perform various data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Financial Assistance: Support the owner with monthly funding and budgeting activities, contributing to financial oversight.
  • Billing & Orders: Assist with billing processes and manage incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Correspondence: Manage and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
