Description · Perform general administrative functions including typing, answering telephones, and composing correspondence. · Process paper flow in and out of the Sales office. · Maintain a filing system of reports and pertinent hotel records. · Type and distribute various department reports as needed. · Answer and forward guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. · Receive, open, and sort all department mail. · Monitor all office supplies, equipment, etc. used by department and be responsible for placing orders, arranging repair, etc. -Ability to accurately use various office software. · Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. · Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed. · Must be detailed oriented and possess superior organizational skills. · Ability to accurately report information. · Ability to assist with various office tasks as needed. · Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures. -Attend required meetings. Requirements · Minimum lifting of 10 pounds. · Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. · Hearing, writing, typing. · Minimum pulling of 10 pounds. -Other duties may be assigned. · Must have a good knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. · Must have good mathematical and computer skills. · Must have hearing and visual capabilities to detect, observe, and report on emergency situations. · High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred. · At least one year of office environment experience required.
