WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TEMPORARY FULL-TIME, ON-SITE SALES ADMINISTRATOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION/RETAIL INDUSTRY FOR A 4 MONTH CONTRACT.

Our client, based in NW Edmonton, is currently realigning their sales department and seeking temporary support for approximately four months. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a fast-paced role, support a busy sales team, and make an immediate impact during a time of transition.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Administrator will play a critical role in managing the RFQ process, generating sales data reports, and supporting the sales pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and proactive, with a strong ability to “herd the cats” and keep things moving efficiently.

Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the RFQ (Request for Quote) submission process, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Learn and navigate the sales operating system to pull and generate reports, providing analytics for decision-making
  • Analyzing sales data and keeping the RFP process moving forward.
  • Follow up on website-generated leads and route them to the appropriate team members
  • Facilitate the sales pipeline, ensuring a smooth administrative workflow
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager during a two-week training period to ensure a seamless handover
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and other departments as required

The successful candidate has:

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Strong initiative and a self-starter mindset
  • Tech-savviness and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Experience with AIMS would be an asset and preferred.
  • Familiarity with RFQs and analytics is a huge asset
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $22–$30 per hour, based on experience
  • Generous retention bonus upon completion of the contract
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
