Axon Moore is proud to be partnering with a well-established family business in Heysham who are looking for a Sales Administrator to join their friendly team. This role will suit someone who enjoys being organised, building relationships, and seeing tasks through from start to finish. You’ll be right at the heart of the sales process, making sure everything runs smoothly, and customers receive a first-class service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking in customer orders and acknowledging them promptly
  • Preparing quotes for supplies and provisions
  • Inputting orders into the system and raising purchase orders with suppliers
  • Keeping track of goods in and making sure everything arrives on time
  • Producing delivery notes and handing completed orders to accounts
  • Handling queries from both customers and suppliers in a confident, professional way
  • Working closely with colleagues as part of a supportive team

What’s in it for you

  • Salary starting at £25,000 with annual reviews
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy an extra 5 after two years
  • Christmas bonus between £500 and £1,000
  • Free parking and refreshments in the office
  • Two friendly office dogs as part of the team
  • A family-run, people-focused culture that’s understanding and supportive

What we’re looking for

  • Someone with good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers on the phone and over email
  • A team player who is willing to get stuck in
  • Previous experience in sales admin, order processing or customer service would be useful, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important

This is a great opportunity to join a business that values its staff, rewards effort and creates a positive, down-to-earth workplace.
